My Afrikaburn 2024 DJ Set at camp @Oe_aa_sies_ is available on SoundCloud and YouTube [LINK IN BIO or search « Remi Bun Afrikaburn » ]. It brings back memories of one of my best sets ever played. It took a lot of effort and time to edit (and I have been very busy with my design work lately) so I apologies for releasing it only today. Huge Thanks to the Team ! Special shoutout to: @jonathanlotter and @mikecloom for playing the lights live during the whole set (you can see them all the time on my left side). This year, we had control over each lights in the stage. When it is well managed like they did, controlling the lights makes a huge difference on the vibe of the dance floor. Let’s acknowledge every light artists that are often forgotten. @thomas_lightart and @flashes_and_lights are the masterminds who help us installed and mapped every light bulbs and pixels of light. We are forever grateful for your help, you guys are legends. @the.third.perspective333 and @alexaperture for capturing the most epics moments I ever had behind decks (go see at 55:00 or at 1:02:00min to relive the energy !) @wulfsohnmusic for the sound system setup. @rubencoetzee and Richard for capturing and mastering the audio, bringing clarity to each beat. SHOUTOUT to each @Oe_aa_sies_ camp members, who have worked tirelessly, through blood and sweat, during weeks BEFORE DURING and AFTER the burn, for creating one of the most incredible space I have played in. I am so proud of us… to a point you can not imagine. Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who danced and danced and danced again with me. I never received so much energy from a crowd in my life. Music is still (for now) a big passion project for me. Every hand shakes, high fives, kind words shared face to face or through DM’s give me so much energy. Sets after sets, you make me want to transform that hobby in something bigger. Who knows what the future holds. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, all of you. It is finally the time of our yearly reunion. Let’s gather all together in the desert, to celebrate life, art, love, and music. I will be playing at our beautiful Oe-aa-sieS stage on the night between Wednesday and Thursday, from 01h00 to 02h30, with the amazing voice of @petronilleleroux . We have prepare a sound journey of melodic techno and progressive house, tribal vibes, all spiced up with good acid techno. I will also share the stage again with @beforeandafterthesun_baas and @phillaphil / @philoupam from 04h00 to the end of the night (or the early morning...).
