Born in Paraí, a small town in Rio Grande do Sul with just over 7,000 inhabitants, Julia Bregalda was discovered in 2018 when she won JOY Management's The Look of The Year modelling constest in Brazil.

Since then, she has starred in editorials for publications such as Vogue, L'Officiel and Marie Claire, and worked for names like Chloe, Giambattista Valli, Carolina Herrera, Dsquared2 and Ermanno Scervino.

At 19, she made a name for herself with Bottega Veneta: the label's partnership with the Brazilian began under an exclusive contract for the Winter 2022 season - during Matthieu Blazy's debut as the label's creative director. This successful partnership was then extended for three consecutive seasons of the Milan shows.
